Hi,
Should you find my website site then let me introduce myself.
I'm Keith davis.
I was born in Taunton , Somerset in South West of England.
During my 44 years as a P.G.A. Qualified golf professional,
I have been working/ Teaching in several European countries.
It all by happened, by pure chance that I eventually settled in Holland.
In the Netherlands I have been Head Professional and teacher in several golf clubs. Proudly done my bit in growing the game, at least made many people enthusiastic.
For the past 7 years I have run a small golf studio/ workshop from my home, predominantly doing golf club repairs, and some club fitting.
However just recently along with a colleague we had the opportunity to buy in older model golf clubs.
We were looking for top brands.
Possibly also when the technology was at its peak.
Our main reason for doing this was to offer people the chance to play with top brand clubs at lower budget prices, as prices were rocketing.
We were also very aware that the past several years changes to golf clubs have been mostly cosmetic.
And not much more can be done to make you a better golfer.
Also ourselves have tuned into older model golf clubs, and absolutely no regrets.
I myself am playing Titleist model irons from 2018. My Taylor woods from 2016, and until now, it’s difficult to find something to match it in performance.

2 Sep 2025 : This is my first postI think one of many.
I hope that you are all having a great golf season
If your grips are wearing down give me a shout out.
In the future, I will keep you posted with all my special offers and bargains. Plus I hope things of interest.
3 sept 2025.
Some welcome rain for all the nature, let alone the golf courses.
Just finished re- gripping a Miura iron set. Now looking the business again.
Doing some driver shaft swapping around and it’s much easier with the adapter system.
5 sept 2025.
Just finished my spinning class. Always a good lesson from Ronald.
Going to fit a couple of new grips for women. One will use standard men’s the other will use midsize men’s.
Both grips in technical terms would be wrong, but it also goes down to comfort, and how you grip the club whether it’s a stronger or weaker position with the leading hand.
The lady with the smallest hands will use the men’s midsize, plays off a 4 handicap. So who’s going to argue with what she should use, according to the club fitters manual.
6 Sept 2025.
Just had some enquiries over the Titleist AP2 and AP3 irons. Very positive.
Otherwise it’s weekend the Irish Open is on the Box, so feet up and watch how the big boys do it.
Tomorrow playing my first game of golf in 6 weeks. Heading off to Belgium, so I’ll keep you posted.
8 Sept 2025
Yesterday I played 18 holes with friends at the Kempense golf club in Belgium. This course belongs to their birdie circle, so they get half price green fees. I had the courtesy of the course, so thank you very much.
My first round of golf in 6 weeks.
I managed to play 9 holes like a pro, but ok, I didn’t take more than a bogey anywhere. And that’s something, it’s Quite a tricky course, with a fair amount of water hazards.
I suppose the icing on the cake was the 18 th par 5.
Not long but narrow, and very tricky. After hitting two fine shots. You are confronted with having to play over at least a 25 metre high tree, with some water, onto a green, that you can just about see. I was close enough to play underneath, but no, I thought the only club in the bag I didn’t use today was my 60 deg lob wedge. The terrace is immediately behind the green, and was packed full.
During my practice swings, I thought god don’t thin it, I could imagine people running for their lives.
But I played the shot and cleared the tree with ease, only to stop dead on the green some 8 meters from the hole.
Left with a down hill left to right, I holed out for my only birdie, the only one of the day. With many people watching and observing, I think I heard one very faint little clap. Lol!.
But who cares! My dinner will taste great after this.
All the terraces and brasserie ( once called club houses) were packed.
But we had great food and service from the hard working staff of The kempense.
Sept 17 2025.
Played some family golf at the kroonprins today.
I like this course, it’s a type of inland links. With both undulating fairways and greens, plus the course is very exposed to the elements, makes for an interesting challenge.
So interesting that my sister in-laws clubs got blown into a water hazard.
Luckily enough the group behind could help with ball retrievers to bring the clubs to the side to lift them out.
At least we found one thing out that the iPhone 13 and above is waterproof. This was possibly the proof, the mobile was submerged for at least 15 mins, and still working well.
We decided to cut the game short to 9 holes and retire for refreshments and food in the clubhouse.
A lesson was learned, check brakes on your trolley at all times, especially when windy.
Anyhow, we will return one day to play the second 9 holes.
